Summary
The main objective of action C4 is to develop complementary actions (CA) to LIFE IP Rich Waters, including all thematic and geographic areas addressed by the RBMP. In total, C4 activities have resulted in a total of 39 CA (11 CA from phase 1, 15 CA for phase 2 and 13 for phase 3 (see deliverable no.25 31/12/2021 and deliverable no. 26 30/06/2024). The 39 reported CAs are projects that are a direct result of C4 activities.
Additional applications have been submitted but not granted. See “project pipeline” for complete list of all CA and applications for whole LIFE IP Rich Waters.
Complementary actions have been developed within all thematic areas. Almost all municipalities in the water district have been involved in activities related to C4 and project development.
Action C4 has worked with the different thematical areas to exchange knowledge and organize webinars and conference sessions about project development. Focus has been on building capacity and to expand the national network to facilitate new collaborations. Action C4 has also organized project development courses for municipalities which resulted in several new projects and project applications.
In phase 3, a network for project development was initiated by MÄVA och LSTU, and NYV initiated a water network for municipalities.
